I am excited to share this week’s blog. What an absolute pleasure it was to be invited to share my wisdom and be interviewed at the beginning of 2015 by Lauren Hunt from “Teacher Types”.
I am often asked now that my son is a teenager “What do you miss about the early years?” The answer I gave, reminds me to hold those memories tight.
I am often asked by teachers for some ideas to incorporate mindfulness activities into the classroom for ages 5 – 10Yrs. I gave 2 fantastic, doable and fun activities that I think you are going to love to explore and experience if you are a teacher (or a parent).
I am often asked how to stay calm, cope and deal with a young child’s tantrum. I think this one practice is a brilliant place to start?”
I have been asked on many, many occasions what my favourite song is within the Kids in Harmony program and with the thousands of songs we have, it is no surprise why I choose the one I do :).
I have recently been asked ‘’WHY” a colouring in book? When you are so creative, why would you limit children with a Colouring in book? I’m sure the answer will surprise you!
I am often asked… “What is mindfulness?” I’m sure you will enjoy the definition.
I am often asked what my favourite quote is and I have so many for so many different reasons. This quote is a beautiful reminder of our responsibility to see the beauty and strengths within each and every child.
I don’t know if I could have covered so many amazing subjects in one blog. Lauren has certainly asked juicy questions on a range of topics that I am very passionate about.
I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.
