Kerry’s experience in parent education along with her personal experiences as a wife and mother lead to her strong belief that as parents and caregivers we are our children’s first and most important teachers.
It was through her desire to provide her own son, Isaac, with an ideal learning environment both at home and in the world – one that focused on parent/child connections –that Kids in Harmony was born.
Kerry is committed to encourageing a sense of self-belief in children and their families and is proud to be part of such a positive service to her community. Her passion is to create a culture of care through nurturing the social and emotional wellbeing of children and the people in their lives.
Lucia was the original co-creator of the Kids in Harmony program Music and Lifeskills from July 2003 to July 2004 - Since July 2004 Kids in Harmony has been reprogrammed as a Music and Values Education program.
Due to the growth of Lucia's business (Arties Music and the Music Hut) she left the Kids in Harmony Program in June 2004. She still plays a musical advisory role in the Kids in Harmony program and continues to give support to the centre.
Lucia and her husband Wayne were instrumental in the birth of Kids in Harmony and it was the original “funky purple shed” behind Arties Music that gave Kids in Harmony its original home and foundation.
Fred is in her fourth year at Kids in Harmony and is much loved by the families that attend. She is the first friendly face people meet at the door and the beautiful cheery voice on the phone as well all the other amazing jobs she does to ensure that Kids in Harmony runs smoothly and effeciently.
Fred began working at Kids in Harmony in 2009, first becoming involved when she attended with her daughter Bella in 2007. She embraced the program right from the start and is thankful every day for the opportunity to be part of the children’s learning and development.
Fred loves being around children. For her, they embody all she strives to be: vibrant, enchanted and open with her heart. Fred is a great believer that if children are allowed to develop freely, they will feel a connectedness with everything around them and be naturally caring to each other and the world around them.
She is currently studying her certificate in Childrens Yoga through the BLISS Kids program at Kids in Harmony. Fred also loves to read and write and would love to someday write and illustrate inspiring books for children.
Kate has been a facilitator at Kids in Harmony for six years and is a much loved and adored member of the team. Kids in Harmony blossoms in her presence and with Kate's love of children and values education brings peace and harmony to the centre.

She is a trained children’s yoga teacher incorporating safe yoga practices into the Kids in Harmony program from babies to children aged seven. Kate is working towards the Virtues facilitator qualification and is passionate about child development.
She is committed to teaching children to love and appreciate who they are in their developing years, and believes that this provides the foundation for healthy, self-confident young people.
